These Terms of Service govern use of the GoEast app.
Use of the App
GoEast provides travel guide content, checklists, route information, practical phrases, and other travel preparation materials for visitors to China.
Users are responsible for using the app lawfully and for verifying important travel, visa, transportation, payment, and connectivity information before travel.
Informational Content
GoEast content is provided for general travel information only. It is not legal, immigration, financial, medical, safety, or professional advice.
Travel policies, app interfaces, prices, payment rules, transportation rules, and entry requirements can change. Users should confirm current requirements with official sources, service providers, airlines, hotels, and relevant authorities before making travel decisions.
Third-Party Services and Links
GoEast may mention or link to third-party websites, apps, government resources, transportation services, payment providers, booking services, or optional connectivity resources.
Third-party services are not operated by GoEast. Their availability, pricing, refund rules, data practices, terms, and legal compliance are controlled by the third party. Users should review the third party's own terms and privacy policy before using or purchasing any service.
GoEast does not guarantee that any third-party service will be available, accurate, lawful in every location, or suitable for a user's specific situation.
No Account or Payment Processing
GoEast does not require a user account and does not process user payments inside the app.
If a user chooses to purchase or register for a third-party service through an external website or app, that transaction is between the user and the third party.
Offline and Local Data
GoEast stores certain app preferences and trip-planning state locally on the user's device. Users are responsible for maintaining access to their own device and backups.
Intellectual Property
GoEast, including its app design, text, structure, and bundled content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users may use the app for personal travel planning. Users may not copy, redistribute, sell, or reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law.

GoEast is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the app or content will be error-free, uninterrupted, complete, or current at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoEast and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for travel disruption, denied entry, missed transportation, third-party service issues, data loss, or financial loss arising from use of the app.

We may update these Terms when the app changes or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
